5th European Nanofabrication Research Infrastructure Symposium
8 – 10 JUNE 2027
BRNO, CZECH REPUBLIC
ENRIS (European Nanofabrication Research Infrastructure Symposium) is a biannual international symposium on nanofabrication cleanroom operation, management and user training organised every two years by EuroNanoLab.
The preparations are underway.
See you in Brno!
WELCOME TO ENRIS 2027
Dear colleagues, partners, and friends,
On behalf of CzechNanoLab and CEITEC Nano, we are delighted to welcome you to ENRIS 2027 – the European Nanofabrication Research Infrastructure Symposium – to be held in Brno, Czech Republic, in June 2027. As a large research infrastructure focused on nanoscience and advanced nanofabrication, CEITEC Nano is honoured to host this important biennial meeting of the European nanofabrication community. ENRIS provides a unique platform for sharing technological advances, exchanging ideas, and strengthening collaboration among research infrastructures, academia, industry, and researchers across Europe.
The symposium follows an important milestone for CEITEC Nano — the 10th anniversary of the CEITEC BUT cleanroom facilities — celebrating a decade of scientific excellence and international cooperation. We are preparing an inspiring scientific programme, along with opportunities for networking and collaboration, and we are especially looking forward to showcasing our modern cleanroom laboratories, advanced information systems, and other innovations that support our user community and everyday operation of the infrastructure. We look forward to welcoming you not only to ENRIS 2027, but also to Brno, a vibrant university city with a strong scientific and innovation ecosystem.

HISTORY

The first edition of ENRIS, the international symposium on nanofabrication cleanroom operation, management, and user training, was held in 2017 in Trondheim (Norway) on May 8-9. The event jointly organized by EuroNanoLab and the Nordic Nanolab Network featured a day and a half of presentations and discussions related to cleanrooms.
You can visit the website of the event or see the flyer.

Following ENRIS 2017, the second ENRIS meeting was hosted by MESA+ Institute for Nanotechnology, University of Twente in Enschede (the Netherlands) on June 16-18, 2019. The two-day event filled with interesting presentations and discussions on cleanroom-related topics such as cleanroom operation, management, and user training, was attended by approximately 160 participants from over 27 countries.

ENRIS 2023 was co-organised by the C2N laboratory – a member of the French network of academic cleanrooms RENATECH – which owns the largest French academic cleanroom. The event took place on May 15-17, 2023 in Paris-Saclay (FR) and welcomed almost 200 participants. You can visit the ENRIS 2023 website here.

ENRIS 2025 took place on May 13-15, 2025 in the beautiful historical city of Bolognafor the 4th edition of the ENRIS Conference. The event was jointly organized by It-fab, the Italian Network of Nano- and Microfabrication.
The Conference is organized under the leadership of Stefano Zampolli (Chair of Local Organising Committee) and Thomas Swahn (Chair of Programme Committee).
